Dr. Larry McDaniel, DVM
Dr. Larry McDaniel is one of the founders of PurinaCare® Pet Health Insurance and has devoted the last four years to the development of this venture.
Dr. McDaniel’s career includes private veterinary practice in Idaho and Montana, followed by positions in the pet food industry with Hill’s Pet Nutrition and Nestlé Purina PetCare.
At Purina, Dr. McDaniel has worked in various marketing and product development positions, including Director of Veterinary Marketing and Brand Director for the Pro Plan® Pet Food product line. Additionally, Dr. McDaniel is past President of the American Academy of Veterinary Nutrition and holds a patent on PVD HA formula for dogs: a breakthrough in the management of canine food allergy.
Currently, Dr. McDaniel is the veterinary spokesperson for PurinaCare® Pet Health Insurance and is the featured veterinary blogger at scratchingsandsniffings.com.
